World Vision 30-Hour Famine 2014

Date: 19th – 20th July 2014

We as 123Cheese.my Photo Booth, are proud to announce that we were one of the sponsors for World Vision 30-Hour Famine 2014! Besides that, we also sponsored for HELP University 30-Hour Famine DIY Camp 2014 and Dual Blessings Bhd 30-Hour Famine DIY Camp 2014.

This year, they adopted the theme “Kick Out Hunger” for the event and more the 30,000 Malaysians joined this annual fundraising and advocacy event to fight against global hunger and poverty! And around 18,000 participants attended the countdown at Bukit Jalil Putra Indoor Stadium.

Okie, let’s go back to the morning on 19th July 2014! We had arranged two photo booth teams and here are some photos from HELP Univerisity. The main block was very crowded during that morning and everyone couldn’t wait to start the camp!

123Cheese.my Photo Booth was set just right beside the entrance and it had successfully grabbed people’s attention! The participants (or we can call them as famine fighters) were very excited and asked their friends or group members to take photos together! We’d customised 30-Hour Famine props for them to spread the message and spirit instead of just taking photo. And everyone got 1 copy of the taken photo!

And now, let us proceed to the 30-Hour Famine Countdown! 2 units of photo booth were set up during that day as we wanted other famine fighters from different camps could have fun at our photo booths too! We received overwhelmed response and the photo shooting was non-stop!

A message board was set at there too. The famine fighters could write down their messages to the MH17 victims’ families for showing support.

The famine countdown started at 12pm. Lots of celebrities were invited to perform and share their inspiring stories with all the famine fighters. The ambassadors of the year is Vanness Wu and Crystal Lee, and they hope that the society can pay more attention on the poverty issues in order to let the children have a better future.

Besides World Vision’s logo, we also included the theme in the photo layout so that the famine fighters will always remember it and continue in fighting a better life for the children.
